LOS ANGELES (AP) -- His dad's hoop dreams ended with a couple of failed tryouts with NBA teams in the 1990's. Now it's possible that Lil' Romeo will be able to achieve his dream of playing basketball through the college route.

Miller's father, Master P (who's real name is Percy Miller), had a couple of tryouts for NBA teams, but never made the squads.

If we think of flowers and cotton candy then we write that down and give it to Romeo. It's better we do it because Romeo never writes raps." He beat Michael Jackson's record of the youngest person to get a number one with his first single "My Baby". His success came from his two early studio albums, mainly Game Time. He mentioned that he did the album all by himself, at his home studio, which was shown on the show MTV Cribs.
